The Big Robots combat will be played like this:
Combo attacks, projectile attacks, and specials.
Combo attacks are like your first attack is a regular slash but if you press it again fast enough you do a different slash and a third time you do a different slash except it's stronger. To prevent button mashing and balance attacks the third attack will have delay at the end.
Projectile attacks are used by Up+X. Hitting a enemy raises your overall power. Missing depletes you back to your original power level. There'll be 5 levels. With each level you gain an extra power attack. So at a power level of 5 you can do 8 attacks. Of course, the power depletes if you don't do anything and projectile weapons are limited.
Specials are attacks that use up your MP. They consist of Reppuken, Hadoken, Shinryuken, Power Geyser, Neo Deadly Rave, kicking enemies in the balls, and etc.
However, depending on your power level you'll do a different one. For example:
The Geese Howard Set
LV 1 - Reppuken Slice
LV 2 - Reppuken
LV 3 - Double Reppuken
LV 4 - Triple Reppuken
LV 5 - Raging Storm
The Terry Bogard Set
LV 1 - Burning Knuckle
LV 2 - Rising Tackle
LV 3 - Power Geyser
LV 4 - Angel Geyser
LV 5 - Grand Power Geyser
eh yeah.
I hate you! You keep teasing us week after week! I want a demooo!
P.S. translation: Sounds really cool. Will there be a demo soon? When it satisfies me enough unlike Story Thread or Igarashi Quest. Those were more like: …I'll just release demos. Nyuk.
This time, it will be different. : OYou shouldn't learn Rising Tackle until you eat a rising taco. D:
