It has been a while, I must say, what with year 12 exams to study for. I got my SACE results today, I got a TER of 94.55 (out of 99.95), which is more than 20 points higher than the TER I need for the Computer Sciences course I want to do at Uni.
Anyways, Facility B has been worked on a lot in the last few days, and sorry for keeping you waiting so long, but my play-testers will get it on the 24th, next Monday. I'll probably release the beta to the general public a week after that, and Chapter One (containing First Assignment, Armoury, Pulse Vortex, and Teleportation) will be released hopefully by new years. I can't release a date yet, coz I'm not entirely sure when it'll be done. We've created a lot of awesome visual effects, but some are simply to laggy to feasibly put into the game. This includes Shadows, Reflections (the ground is like a mirror, which requires rendering everything twice), and some other stuff too.~tij
Awesome. Maybe you could put reflections in, but only over very small areas, and only one at a time.
Sounds cool.
Hi tijit, didnt realise you had a blog on Facility B going, congrats on the Ter score too.
@ F1ak#r, the game will include reflections in all areas, as an option.cool
