I never did Design Studies in High School, but it's core to the Computer Graphics Degree at the university I go to.

Basically, I suck at it. I only just scraped passes in the first half-semester.

But.. things are looking up :)

For Assignment 02, worth about 35% of my grade, the goal of the project is to pick a designer, make a Flash presentation/website showing off their work and design language, and finally create a work of your own that fits the designer's design language.

I negotiated it with my lecturer, and he thinks it'd be a cool idea to pick a small-time game developer, and do a flash presentation of that, and make a game with the same style as the guy I picked.

Yay, something I can do!

So, I was gonna choose cactus, coz he's got this really awesome unique audio/visual style in his games. Unfortunately, that'd be too hard for me to duplicate my self, so I decided to go for someone else.

I've chosen Nobody/JW/whatever you wanna call him. I'm gonna showcase some of his games in a flash presentation and make a game with the same graphical style as Super Ninja Hunter/Gregg the Egg/Make Me (which I've only seen screenshots of).

Anyways, I'm looking forward to my first decent design studies assignment, and making a neat game :) , which I'll post up on 64digits upon completion.
