I vanished from this site, and the internet overall for a good, I'd say, 3 months, but things have been picking up in that time =)

-I moved a couple of months ago, and am enjoying the current place.

-I've been working a new job for a month and a half, this job is a definite improvement over the last one. Even though I was ashamed to say it, the last job was a packer in a potato plant.

-I'm now running a home business as an on-call computer technician. Even got a printing company to create business cards for it. In the short time, I've already seen good interest, and I'm doing the thing I want to do, plus I'm enjoying the satisfaction of working for myself - the best kind of job of all.

-I've put my latest Game Maker project, Hunter's Island Part 2, on hold to instead write a novel completely based on it, something I've wanted to do for a lot of years. Same characters, but a different story that takes place before the game will.

-I recently travelled to the Rocky Mountains of Alberta/British Columbia for the first time, 2 years after arriving in Alberta, and I have quite a few pictures to share from my trip.
