Heh, it seems my game "Megaman Final 3" has found it's way to other places on the internet, and I didn't even know it.
Yesterday, a user came into my IRC chatroom, and told me about how people were playing my game, and couldn't beat one of the bosses. Since I had never seen this person before, I asked "Where did you find my game?"He told me it was on a site that lists fangames, Strider's Mega Man Domain, so I went to this site, and sure enough, there it was, along with Hard Hat, Megaman Paradise, and a few other GM-made Megaman fangames. Even though I was never asked about adding it, I'm honoured that someone notices my work. :)To find it go to http://www.megaman-fangames.com -> Fan Game Archive and you will see it about halfway down the list
XD
That's really neat.Cool! Is it one of the more popular ones? Also, does the person who run the site know about/use GM?
Awesome! I got that too with GameCave and the Effects Engine; I felt like searching my name on Google and there were tons of sites advertising my site, and/or the Effects Engine. Really exciting.
-RhysYay, some stupid people would probably be angry that their game was there without permission =P
I dont get those peopleI talked to Strider, like, once on AIM. xD
I do not remember playing Megaman Final 3 but I probably did not like it regardless. And Damaged used the guy who made Rock Man Paradise's example to make his game, IIRC.thats nice… i wish MY games would be put on a fanlist… :'(
I'm still not worth noticing
The linked website doesn't work for me :(
I found people redistributing my games on sketchy Czech websites with graphics that bordered on pornography. It was not amusing.
cool.
