Upon further investigation, it looks like this is the work of KaBob so thanks Kabob!
You still have that banner I made you years ago O_o
The design was actually based on 2 simple ideas, which was to replace news with blogs and the blog list with recent comments. The only thing truly based off of facebook is the word "feed" lol.
My sarcasm knows no bounds KaBob! I like the new look. And yes Obe, I literally used photoshop for the first time yesterday, so I don't have the prowess to generate my own banners yet :P
On top of that, there seems to be more people lurking around at the wee hours of the night.
