Mmmmmkay.
I thought I would throw out another little demo as I've been cranking them out lately. (I have 5 demos on my desktop at the expense of my beauty sleep.)Comets!!!It's pretty much just using Marbs little gravity engine and giving it some depth. This is more of the test stage because my friend wants me to make this game but won't tell me how exactly. I have no idea how to make the scoring system. Currently, its just:global.best_time+score-(lives*100)best_time is the longest time you stayed airborne without crashing, score is 2000 points for making it to the other station and 100 points for every star you hit(It might be 50 points, I forget), and lives is how many times you launched a rocket. So this little game could become a nice minigame except I have no clue what I want to do:How is score measured?Do I want fuel?Do I want a limit to the number of launches? How do you get new levels? Are there non gravitated objects to avoid? Are there special bonuses? Is there enough stuff to make this a nice minigame?Any ideas would be apprecisted. I kinda have an idea of what I want to do but it's not finalized.(Okay, I lied. I do have a bit of a clue of what I'm doing…)Poll:A: Should I change my banner?B: If yes, Should it be smaller?C: Should it be pixel art or another drawing?D: Crappy alien gangsters or retro jungles?E: Define ZumboruukEveryone remember to EAT MORE HUMUS!EDIT:And does anyone happen to know where I can find a turnbased grid movement example with either hieght or different terrain. I'm stuck on that code but I have the movement and the turns coded…
It's based of an old-school falsh game so of course it's fail…
(Duh)Eh, don't spread yourself on useless projects like this. Focus
