Ok, so there are a couple of reviews that have already come out for the wii and things are not looking good.

Wii sports got like a 7.8 because not all the games were fun to play

COD 3 got…wait…wait…a 7.6!!??!?

THDJ got a 7.something

Excite truck got a 7 too

The only good games were Monkey Balls and Trauma center…

WTF nintendo? No 4p multiplayer or online in excite truck? Isn't that the whole point of wii? play with friends?

Lame…I think i might just add to my wii money and get a 360 and get GOW and COD3. Meh….

I just re-read this and i sound like someone i'm not…

Bah. What do you expect? It's nintendo. It's impossible for them to not screw something up.

Besides, those all seemed like filler games. Wait for the big guns to come out, like Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Those games still look awesome, and besides, the PS3 has a bunch of 'bad' reviews too.

Also, it depends where you looked. For instance, IGN's reviews so far are even between the 8's and 7's. I don't think it's really anything to worry about. A 7 isn't bad.

yeah, it's impossible not for them to screw up customer service, which is the only one of the three that actually cares about the customer, and it's impossible for them not to get screwed really hard by the 3rd party developers like Capcom who are just releasing games for a quick cash in…

online isn't out yet, but it'll be out in Q1 2007. And those reviews are rushed reviews, they don't spend a week actually reviewing it, they just skim through the games.

and a 7 is actually a highly recommended game, but most magazines give 8s and 9s for games that deserve 6s and 7s… 10 is an absolutely flawless game, which should be the only score that is not obtainable.

Lol yeah I just got a bunch of reviews from inside EGM and they aren't so great. Also it seams that the PS3 (even though it's more expensive) is a better overall console. Compared to the Wii it won the following categories:

Best Online Plan

Best Extra Functionality

Most Promising Software Lineup

Resistance Fall of Man <against red steel>

So yeah I was all for the Wii but as of the last 2 weeks I've been more excited about the PS3 to tell you the truth.

For instance, at Gamespot, ExciteTruck got a 6.8! I've actually never really liked GameSpot due to their reviews and stuff.

Er…. Fanboy Alert? I don't even get what that's getting at. I never said SSBM is bad, I love that game.

Look, nintendo ALWAYS screws up something. Sometimes its insignificant ("Wii," Wario's new fart move in SSBM), and sometimes it's a big screw up (Er… the GCN? Yeah, there's some great titles, but it could have been a much better console…)

and WTF for best software lineup for the PS3??

and you can't compare 2 same games on different consoles, it's just stupid, they're designed to be different, and plus, the wii version will always be inferior, as developers prefer a crappy Wii game made in the same time as a godly Xbox360 and PS3 game…

and the reason why the Wii is getting negative reviews is because hell, we're so used to playing one way, changing dramatically will bias your score so it's against it
