Things I discovered while writing and running a renderer of the Mandelbrot set in GM:
1. It's slow.2. It's barely recognizable when using the "nebulabrot" method! - But using the normal method produces alright images… if you can wait a couple of hours for the thousands of iterations per pixel to render O_O (GM probably isn't accurate enough, I checked the code about a million times, and no explanation for the giant X you see in the following images:)1. Nebulabrot at 16 iterations:2. Nebulabrot at 6 iterations:3. Some random other generated image I made while I was bored, anyway, 9 iterations of it:4. The result of me raping the Julia equation:5. Raeped it again:6. Moar raep:7. Oops, moar raep yet agenz =D:8. Some lightninz!!11!eleventy one!!!11!!!!:Phew, I have more, but I'll leave it for another time. DISCUSS IT NAO, MINIONS!
woah, some of these are confusing. I must seem like an idiot, but whats Nebulabrot, Oops, moar raep yet agenz =D, 8. Some lightninz!!11!eleventy one!!!11!!!!, and all those other confusing and sciency thingies?
I don't know why, but I'm scared when I watch image 5.
Ahh… fractals, good stuff.
Pretty.
=D
Yey fractals *pulls up pants and puts on thick-rimmed glasses* …Now I'm ready…
