Jaxx is a Copycat.

C'mon, everyone knows I'm the one who started the annual blog trend. I've been doing that here and at DeviantArt for the past 4 years! That's one year before you! </sarcasm> If you use Linux, this font might look familiar. I guess that's a pretty big change from last year; I've switched to Linux. I got into Ubuntu, but honestly, I'm desiring some Gloria Mint delectables, right now. I'm hearing a lot about ENIGMA, but I really would like to see some sort of tutorial about setting it up, because I'm not sure how it's supposed to work. I would love to see zPlat working in that so that the Linux community can start making some good platformer games with it. Speaking of which, zPlat 7 is outdated. 8's being uploaded right now. Be sure to check it out. It was some serious work fixing those bugs. I took some C# under the skin with XNA, and it was for a friend, but he spent three months not talking to me. It turned out that he could have me develop anything. ANY SOONER MOMENT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT, BRO. Got a guitar that plugs into the laptop. Sounds like a ton of stuff. Later I'll make a program that makes more good sounds of it. <3 No gaming projects, anymore. I'm becoming a Computer Engineer. Bye.

Independent Gaming Convention 2009
April 02, 2009

It was amaaaazing. Loved the awards section. People up on the stands were yelling and ripping their shirts off. Anyone play Cortex Command? That guy was a genius, and he's totally ripped. If I were there, I'd totally swoon and make sure he sees it, too. I really do love that game. I've decided to cancel Polish. on account of it already being bested by Iji, last year. It was everything I wanted my game to be. Why be a labeled copycat? So, I got thinking about racing games. Yeah, I know. "Gee whiz, Tony, how do you go from platform games to racing games? Are ya gonna be a fag about it and make another Sonic remake?" The answer is HEWL NAW. I'm going 3D with Blender and crap, and I'm stepping out of Game Maker for this one. Crazy, I know, but have you ever played a game called "Whiplash" by Interplay? Jesus, that was the pinnacle of racing games. My challenge is to recreate the fun in that game, with tracks having crazy loops and corkscrews and stuff like that while retaining its "wow" factor. I'm thinking about programming a robot that "edits" the parts to make them more interesting every third lap, like missing floors and have them on fire, or something awesome like that. Don't think I'm not doing platformer games, anymore! I'm creating a Global Awareness game featuring a chubby treehugger in a freaking PELICAN HAT. FUCK YES A PELICAN HAT. <where big companies would put the <sarcasm> tag> I think we're done with aliens-on-earth action games, amirite? We need HIPPIES AND PELICAN HATS WITH CARS GOING IN LOOP-DE-LOOPS, NOW. <sarcasm> I'm a gaming Nostradamus, clearly. </sarcasm> </where big companies would put the <sarcasm> tag>

A Whole Lot is Happening
December 23, 2008

Alright, so much stuff to sort through, so little time. Categorizing initiation begins... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... ok wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... now. Friggin' Christmas: It's goin' down here at the homeless shel-- I mean, my house here, and I have spent about 90 or so dollars on Christmas gifts, including items ranging from dancing masks to candles to hot wheels cars to *shudder* Bakugan cards. It was really messy. I bought no games. We're receiving a Wii this Christmas with a crapload of good stuff like Galaxy and Brawl. We're off to a nice start, though a bit behind. Playing Twilight Princess on the Wii is going to be fun for another grand 30 minutes, as it loves to be. For some odd reason, the guy on ebay gave us 2 Wii Play games and no Wii Sports. Wii Sports was the bomb! Wry? Therefore, I prompt the lot of you cookie-and-candy-infested creatures to propose your Wii Friend Code so that I may come into your server and make a dirty username that will agitate you. I command you. Do as I will and do as I whim. ---- The Gospel of Crimson Tears (Oh, Jesus! Ha ha ha) and some other games: Okay, Crimson Tears looks sexy. May JakeX rock me faster, always. Now, for Fez. For those who haven't heard of this amazing game, it's going to rival Cave Story. This guy is friggin' out of his mind to invent a Platformer that works how it does. Super Paper Mario came closest to the concept, but this guy NAILED it. Let's move on to The Grid. This game is awesome. Loved it when it first came out, still supporting it, now. Callistro. Oh, yes, the most visually pleasing and in-depth (not to mention the only) Galaxy generator out there, but they plan on making this into an RTS game. I don't try many RTS games, but I'd give this one a shot. Purple. Everyone and their grandma has seen this one, but I am crossing my fingers for the completed version. None of these games are really expected to come out this Christmas, but just updating you guys... Men of War. Another WW2 game, by the looks of it, but since it's an indie game, I'm sure everyone will check it out. My predictions are that the game will be attractive for a while until Crimson Tears wipes the floor with it. Really. Nobody stands a chance. ---- Projects: Polish., if you remember the game, hasn't shown its face for about a year. That's because I have been rewriting its engine... SIX TIMES. I have redrawn all characters, designed weapons and even made a Shakespeare-ish script to give it a better storyline. With some of the newer creations I have established (well, maybe just the Main Menu thing) the game will come out with an incredible new look. There are other games that I know would be a sin to reveal, one of them featuring a specific robot created by Andrew Dickman. Thanks to those who read. Tony, signing out.

I HATE YOUR GUTS
August 06, 2008

U CAN GO DIE. >:C Y'know what ticks me off? People with that stupid, ugly, god-awful BBQ badges. God I hate these people. I must've played for three hours trying to figure out all y'all dumb memes and finally figuring out all of the game's codes at the same time. I head on over to Twisterghost's page and I see that he's just left. I mean, I won't hold it against anybody to be honest, but should the badge really still be there if nobody is supporting giving the badges out, any longer? I mean, people will whine if they lose the badge, but at least nobody will have to go through what I went through. </sarcasm> Okay, now that that's over, how'sabout another moderator starts appointing those BBQ badges, huh? I wunt 1. :C

I dunno if this happens a lot, BUT
August 01, 2008

I've been searching quite a few blogs on this site. I mean quite a few, and maybe left some comments myself, but for the most part, most of these blogs are of a person stating a point of view. These blogs usually result in a horde of people disagreeing with it. I mean, shoot, there are people out there who are wrong, and there are people who have an opinion, but are there people on this site who just browse the blogs every day looking for something to argue about? I can tell it isn't really a sort of "blog trolling," but there are some cases of where the disagreement is far beyond the point. Maybe I'm spewing crap, but I really do think people don't try hard enough to find the sense that these bloggers make. But of course, there won't be anybody who would post that they agree that there has been any disagreeing on here. There will only be these blogging searchers who stand firm and stubborn, only commenting to point out the obvious fact that they can and will disagree as long as they please. While I have no problem with that, I merely state that a lot of this "negative anti-blog funk" feels like it's been going around.
