Anywho... what's up with the uploading? I can't upload the newest version of my game, it has a save feature that everybody thats played the damn thing has been hounding me on adding it. Yeah that password system is somewhat bogus if you only play for a little while. It's a good game, I just recently played it since I released it a year ago. It's fuckin hard if you don't have a controller. lol
I was going to add a poster along with this recent update but I take a while working on paintings. Ugh... Here's a small sample of it.
I'll try several ways to paint it before I make up my mind & do it simple. Well at least I'm back in college & got some government money. Yeah!
I'm taking a Maya Modeling & Animation class & Final Cut Editing class. The thing is I already know video editing (I do have a Mac & done video before) so I'll be spending my time working more on Game Maker plus some basic 3D & trying to finish my comic*. Gotta get that MegaMan Vizions** game in the works.
Anyways.. I do have tons 2 say but I won't bore u with my boring life. Well vote/support Obama/Biden in November cuz the world is going to shit in a cart full of dead puppies covered in old mans vomit.

**MegaMan Vizions is a 3D game I've had locked up in my head for a while, ever since Game Maker became a lil bit 3D friendly. I've been thinkin about working on a beta engine based on a Wiimote control.
I've really had it with the new consoles within these past few years. I've tried so hard to get into gaming like in the NES-SNES era but I just can't take it anymore. Games aren't the same anymore, it's like money changed them somehow <_<. And the worst thing about it is that I was caught up in the hype of the fuckin' Wii. Not the hype "OMG, this is innovative" naw.. not that shit. The fact that I can play old school games attracted me to the system. OK I was happy because I figured that all my favorites "will be" on that system plus I get to play other wii titles. Well I was dead wrong.
Well since the Wii release, I haven't played one game that has brought me back to the good ol days. Even with Twilight Princess, I didn't care for the artwork. That's OK, there are other titles to look forward to. Then Metroid Prime 3 is a no go, Galaxy is average at most then came the long awaited Brawl. Which I played months before it's release. Many complained about its release and once it was out, nobody plays it. WTF!!! Yes many blame Mario Kart Wii online but that game is shit compared to Double Dash or 64. And speaking about online... ugh why even bother with it.
Well my point is that Nintendo has peaked with this system and it's all about gimmicks. I've said this before, I've had many arguments with friends on this subject. Nintendo is crap & it's just living on life support. Even on several gaming magazines they have dabble a bit on the topic but never got really into it because it's number #1 in the market & they don't want to be labeled as "haters". Of course it's number #1, it's battling against the 360 & the lame duck PS Triple.
But with all franchise based gaming companies, what do I expect from them. Look what EA has been doing with Madden. It's the same fuckin game every year yet people buy it. Just because the rest don't release a game every year (every other 5+ yrs) doesn't mean it's a new game!
It's the same shit... & like the rest of the drugs I used to do! This might be on my list pretty soon.
Well I might just sell my Wii on ebay.. probably sell it for $700 bucks USD. I'm trying to get all the money I wasted on it back, probably not but I'll give it a try. 35 VC games, 8 game discs plus extras. Sorry Nintendo, I love ya but it's time to let u go. To me... everyone that has you in a death grip, squeezing the life out of you I consider "Douchebags!"
Here's a video on the updates of the game I'm working on. I'm was testing the 2nd act, level 2 parts 1 & 2. Still needs some more work on it but it's coming along fine. Once I finish 3 complete acts (each act has 2 levels & a boss stage, like in the ol school Sonic 1 game) plus the cut scenes for each level that tells the story. This is 1st look at the new game I'm working on, Dr Green Saves X-Mas. I started working on this game an week ago after I read about the GameMaker Winter Competition. I started doodling some sketches on what to make and this came out. But knowing me... I want to make this game awsome & not shit, I doubt I'll be able to finish in time for the deadline but I'll try.
The story is about Santa Claus being kidnapped as the world is being destroyed by an evil corporations ruled by one powerful entity. They send in Dr. Green, one of the worlds finest scienist to stop this organization & restore the worlds climate before it's too late. Dr. Green will use some of his earth-friendly weapons as his solar-ray gun, ice beam gun to even snowballs just to stop Corpor & his executive allies from polluting the North Pole & corrupting the world.
This is a spoof of several parts of my favorite NES games like Contra, Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, The Simpsons & several others in this eco-friendly game with all kinds of double meanings on religions, corporations, patriotism and relevent themes happening right now in the world. (& all sorts of shit I can think of)
If you want to help out, ask me. :D, I really need original midi music. This is all original artwork, no ripped sprites cuz many of you really hate that but that's not the point. The point is that original ideas and artwork are possible among users of GameMaker. No circle or box shape non-animated main characters here! Bitches!
For my next big project I was thinking of a fighting game, something like smash bros mixed with street fighter. Yet I haven't seen any SF gm engines nor a good smash bros engine I can get a good example from. I've played some and they suck, so that's going to be my 1st mission, How the hell to code the damn thing.
I've been brainstroming something something... with this game engine. I was thinking something like what mugen did with the fighting engine. But that's too Capcom-ish for what I have in mind.
The programming is going to bit tricky because I suck at it... but I'll give it a try. The sprites & backgrounds are going to be made by me. None of this BS about editing pre-existing sprites. All made from scratch (damn now I have to crack open my animators book & go over it...)
Having horror movies/tv characters battling out on memorable scenes from the movies/shows they are from cuz horror movies are one of my favorite genres.
And what better way to give something back to it!
I have all the resoruces I need. I just have to watch the movies & take notes on the characters I'll be working on.
That's going to be fun. Come up with some designs for the characters so they can all match within the game.
I won't have anything out soon but I'll be working on this on my spare time... you know with college work being a bitch and all.

This is the 1st draft of a small photoshop project I'm working on... started working on it 2 days ago. It still needs much more fixing up & tweakin'
& if I print it out, it looks exactly like a Gameboy Advance box, that's how I go the layout.
As for the game, I have 3 weeks off from college... maybe I'll work on it a bit. before I go to the summer sessions. Ugh! I wish I was a kid again... you lil mofo's have it good! Take advantage of it before your parents kick you out!
I woke up today feeling like buying some video games... mostly used Gamecube & PS2 games at gamestop or maybe some new "greatest hits" or something. well I picked up the Megaman X & Crystal Chronicles for the GC & the Shadow of the Colossus for the ps2. As I walk towards the dude that works their… I saw the bundle pack for the psp & I ask myself “should I?” then I look down & see the X-Box 360! I just couldn't buy the 360... It’s too much cash! It’s fuckin’ insane to buy one right now. I let that go for now & made my mind up. I placed the empty game boxes by the cash register & ask for a PSP! I was like “fuck it, the DS has a shitty ass game line-up, all I have is the New Super Mario Bros & that probably it for me.” “Gimme a PSP, the Ghost N Goblins & Megaman Power-up”.
Fuck dude seems like u have money to shit on… yeah I do, I have no life or no one to spend my money on except ME!!! You only live once, but if I bought the 360 I would probably regret it. $400 & plus $60 for a game is too fucking much! But 6 games & a psp for 350 is not bad.
It’s odd that I can’t find a old X-Box console anywhere… they all disappeared?!?!
Oh well I’m happy with it… now I’ll play the waiting game on psp emulators for the newer versions console. Fuck downgrading!

A side game project that's been in under the heat lamps for a long time. Created with GM 5.1 "Best Version Ever!" this engine is solid and I only have the 1st stage and several small enemies plus a mini boss. I'll finish this up once MegaMan Paraidse is up & ready!
