…well I got 3D Studio Max and I've been slowly modeling things. Today, I made a plane like the Red Baron:
But when I try to load it in Marzipan it takes ages to load and this would most likely kill Game Maker. So, my question today is:How would I go about reducing the amount of polygons in my 3D model? In other news, I've been improving my "cartoon-like" drawing skills:I think it's pretty good. I might make a game with that style of sprites… I'm also using my 1337 skills to make a comic for a GM magazine but you'll know about that later.I'm working on a Kirby Online game using 39DLL. Toon-Master is being a great help and is trying to figure out how to get rid of the lag.EDIT: Hey look. I made a pumpkin:Thanks,-0NL1N3-
Geez, nice model/man!!
Thanks. I only started using 3D Studio Max a few days ago.
That's cool. =)
I need to learn how to use 3D Max Studio[:P]
You could try making your models in something that's made for GM… and you could try lowering the poly density of round objects.
