…well I got 3D Studio Max and I've been slowly modeling things. Today, I made a plane like the Red Baron:
But when I try to load it in Marzipan it takes ages to load and this would most likely kill Game Maker. So, my question today is:How would I go about reducing the amount of polygons in my 3D model? In other news, I've been improving my "cartoon-like" drawing skills:I think it's pretty good. I might make a game with that style of sprites… I'm also using my 1337 skills to make a comic for a GM magazine but you'll know about that later.I'm working on a Kirby Online game using 39DLL. Toon-Master is being a great help and is trying to figure out how to get rid of the lag.EDIT: Hey look. I made a pumpkin:Thanks,-0NL1N3-
That's not pillow shading, it's a glow. Get Photoshop and in the words of ChIkEn: "Get the spell checker".
Great model! Considering how hard 3DS Max is the first few days.
Heh, that model would be suited nicely for a GM game.
OMFG GET A HUNDRED SPELL CHECKERS, QUICK! AND WE NEED AN ARMY TO USE THEM!!
Thanks for all the comments although I still haven't found a way to stop it from killing GM. [:(]
sk8, that is not pillow shading.
Aww man, I really want 3DS Max. I've got no good modeling programs, so that means I can't put new models into my mods.
Or… maybe you could… model a stun rifle for me?Stun Rifles!Whoa, nice!
