DAY THREEDAY TWO PART TWODAY TWODAY ONEStamina meter showing the hplock and whatnot.
I have a lot of ideas written down, about twenty different items, some ideas of how the game will work and stuff. I also have some drawings and things of that sort but I'm too lazy to either redraw/write everything so that it's neat enough to display or even just upload pictures of what I have now. So you will just have to satiate that hunger with this flimsy little screenshot of the first 20 minutes of work. :POTHER STUFF - I'm starting work at the Vans shop tomorrow - SWAG - I'm essentially done with this semester of college, just gotta go through finals next week and I'm free for a month (almost) - I'll probably edit this when I have more to say. /lieEDIT: This inventory system is taking a pretty long time :\
reminds me of max payne for some reason
Updated with stuff I just got done. I've barely worked on it so far. It'll get (and look) better as I put more time into it. None of the graphics are officially final. If I have to keep them, I will, but the main focus is trying to finish the engine… which is moving a lot slower than I hoped for… Darn attention span!
I like how it's looking thus far :D
It reminds you of Max Payne because Acid copied the health bar from that game. :P
I've never played Max Payne. lol
EDIT: Yeah, it kind of makes me sad that I just copied a game I've never played, kind of.Gradually growing :D
cool, but it looks a lot like zac1790's game, but with a lot better graphics. :p
EDIT: I know that you've probably never even saw zac's game, but when he was livestreaming the other day, it looked a lot like this, cept yours has better graphics. D:I thought he was making an RTS type thing
Looking great, probably the best-looking and interesting competition game screenshots this far.
Interesting way to make trees transparent. Would moving behind people also make them display their organs? :PPro tip: Make more tree variants.Yeah, that's actually the first thing I'm doing tomorrow, Cesque! :P
I'm going to have a LOT of stuff, though right now I'm pretty much just focusing on the most basic things. I expect that by the end of the compo, if all goes according to plan, I should have lots of little details that make the game at least semi-immersive. (Weather, animal tracks, etc.)For me, what makes a game look good isn't high resolutions and realism, but the little things - the extra details.(Though this inventory system is eating a bit of my time…)
