A place to talk

My english professor is babbling on about design principals right behind me. He's not a bad guy, but he's boring. At least I can go to websites while he's talking. :\

This is just going to be a short blog containing my current thoughts - disregard this if you'd like.

I have like 15 Dota 2 keys if anybody still wants one

I wish that I had more time to put into my game jam game before the deadline but I had to keep leaving to help Finn and Abbey because Abbey is still in pain from THE EVENT and she can't really get up and I'm not going to be a douche and say "God, Abbey I'm making video games go take care of Finn and leave me alone." And I had homework. But I am already working on fleshing it out more - I had a bunch of ideas of what could go on, scoring systems, and backgrounds.

I need to play Lykan.

I'll probably talk more later.

Is there anyone who doesn't have extra DoTA 2 keys at this point? I have two and I don't even play the game.

4 keys, haven't played it since June.

I too fuck around on my computer while in class. I bought a larger battery just so it could last me 6 hours of class time.

DOTA2 keys are worthless, they're sold for minimum price ($0.02) in the Steam market. I got 8 and all I can do to get rid of them is redeem them over and over again.

When I said that you could've just added a timer to your game I wasn't taking into account the teeny detail that is having a baby to take care of. You'll find the time eventually.

I wasn't even aware of Lykan's existence until I started paying attention to the recently submitted games due to the 64Jam. We really should re-do the section.

I have a Dota 2 key myself, and I'd use it if Steam didn't make my computer go apeshit.

Perhaps I've been living under a gigantic rock, but I still don't even know what Dota 2 is.

Some sort of MMORPG thing that evolved from a super-popular World of Warcraft mod into a stand-alone game.

Or an RTS in which you control a single unit with abilities that can be used every so often, and "units" from both teams that spawn sporadically to attack the enemy.

I never really got it. Then you go to a 100+ people LAN party and most of them are playing LoL. It was a very boring three days.

Evilish asked me for all my dota keys. Apparently he was gifting like 50+ of them

Yeah, it's funny because I believe that DOTA 2 keys have become like… a sub meme or something.

Anyone with DOTA 2 has at least 5.
