Well, I got first place. I win $20 when Kilin gets here, and I feel pretty awesome for actually getting some money (and games) for winning a competition.
I was originally thinking of buying Minecraft. Until I figured out that the $ sign I thought was a $ sign was actually a € sign, meaning that I was short on cash.So alas, I can't actually buy Minecraft, nor join in occasionally on the server. Gift of Death suggested that I try using le Donations link. I'm le skeptical, and I don't like begging. So meh:Don't clickOtherwise, I've chosen Terraria as my prize from Unaligned. Left 4 Dead is going to have to sit around on my new Steam account for a while because I'm still waiting to be able to afford uncapped (Read: Real) internet (Which I hope to be able to do circa July). Also, The Polynomial looks awesome. I'm assuming that it'll be awarded via Steam. And I'm looking forward to the showcase.Anyway, suggestions on what else to do with $20 of funds that I can't withdraw, can't spend at my local e-tailer, and can't buy Minecraft with?
Give me the $20! :DThat kinda defeats the purpose of winning it in the first place, considering you were part of the competition >:3
Sure. *estimated time 'til I get Minecraft: 20 years*
That figures based on the growth rate of my PayPal account:Beggining of 2010: $0.00Beginning of 2011: $0.00Beginning of 2012: $0.00Give it all to Steam.
I would've went with Minecraft, if I was you, mayne.
Just get the Dead Space pack, and Nation Red while they're on sale. Nation Red is fkin amazing.
Yeah, I got Nation Red free for a few days, it's kind of cool.
Basically, if you're into TDS games, and have played Crimsonland, that game is for you.
That was the other game I was going to get for the booby prize, but I settled with Dead Space instead. >=[
