Welcome to Century 21. We are insane.

Yes, completely and undeniably insane.

Take a quick look at this:

And tell me that it isn't an awesome idea… Because damn, I'd like to shoot flies/mosquitoes/other pests with a shotgun too.

In unrelated news, my knee is feeling somewhat better, so they took away my walking-stick, so I can't poke people anymore and pretend to be House. :{

More blog will be tacked onto the end of this shortly. For now, watch the -whole- of this:

Some more insanity…

So today, sitting here has been boring. So I decided to try have some fun. Now I racked my brains trying to determine what could possibly be a source of fun

I have Minecraft… but that wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be…

So I started playing Dwarf Fortress 2012 (The latest string of releases). Apparently now we can be necromancers and revive skins. Woot. (In Adventure mode, leastways).

Without wasting time, I created a new world and found a wonderful looking place to settle, with deep metals. It was called the "Wealthy Jungles". I just missed the 'Cold' tag. So now I'm stuck with a sorry lot of miserable dwarves.

Most players would hit the proverbial reset button now, but I've been here before. When all else fails, have as much 'fun' as you can…

*Grins evilly and cracks knuckles*

UPDATE: The markov blog generator

OK… so somebody borked it into only generating a markov blog from the 20 most popular blogs…

It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the most popular 64D blogs happen to be…

Here, have a new competition

No wait, here's a better one

And I just figured out how to get it to work the way I expect it to work again:

Mega randomness

(I see I can change the seed…)

It just adds the goosebump factor to the game. First time I heard it… I was hooked.

A gun that shots salt? that's not crazy at all.

Astryl 12 years ago

Oh yeah, saw that yesterday.

@Maderick: It's just an insanely awesome idea that I'm surprised nobody came up with yet.

Visor 12 years ago

I know it's probably really insignificant, but wouldn't it leave bits of salt everywhere?

Astryl 12 years ago

Most definitely. Easier to clean up than a splattered fly, though.

I want one. I like how they have half a million dollars, and their goal was fifteen grand.

I didn't know this random blog thing existed, but I love it.

I did it to my blog with the same seed as your random generation. (Although, I don't think I even have 20 blogs yet.)

I got a really interesting review of Exile.

You should play Fallout 3.

Exile - Mega (8/10)

A game about walking right with poorly programmed movement until you reach an omnipotent error screen. At this point you must defeat the Teddy Graham army. Although, I realized after a point that I wouldn't be joining this site. Obviously, that changed. After quite a bit big, but I don't think a game where I'm making a running animation. 6 frames; shaken, not stirred.

refused to buy armor, in fact, I spat in the cabinet, who does that? I swore at my cat for rubbing up against my leg, my actions didn't seem to be found anywhere. They talk about how they developed the Sylvari (dryad people made of shadowcarrots and he promised he'd never leave me.

worked, eventually. I didn't rage quit.

Heheh.

Makes for an interesting read.

wtf did I just read in that comment?

The magic of the Markov chain blog generator.

Oh, haha. I thought it was a review of Exile. Goes to show I don't read blogs that I comment on, or I would have known the context.
