Happy New Years, everybody!

I kinda missed the fact that the year on my PC rolled over to 2013. Screw timekeeping.

My resolutions are unimportant, because we all know that you tend to fail them anyway.

I went on a little trip on Saturday down to Cape Town, and spent half the day wandering around a mall. Found a BT Games outlet (Gamestop, but good), ate at Joe's, and fought with my mind…

The reason for that being, I have an irrational and uncontrollable fear of heights. And the dimwits who design modern malls see fit to have glass walkways, glass railings, glass elevators… So I start to blank out if I'm too near to the edge of a rail overlooking a long drop. I fought it using Logic and Reason. Wound up with a huge stress related headache after I left though, but I really wanted to go to some of the shops there…

Anyway, I bought this:

Borderlands. Always wanted to try it out, and it's pretty fun. :P

Before anybody tries complaining about the AA being off, screw you, because I like my lines with a few jagged curves to them. :3

Otherwise, I'm trying to build a sphere in Minecraft. Large one. Kinda applying pixel-art methods that I usually reserve for circles, and trying to do it in 3D.

Also, I've been renovating my big-ass Fortress of Doom/Awesome/Whatnot. It needed more stairs, towers, battlements, gates, hidden passages, gold trim and shit like that. More screenshots:

Throne Room. The diamond blocks in the center are a Minion Disposal System. If I'm sitting on the throne, and some hapless jerk just happens to stand on them, a quick press of a button on my throne withdraws the diamond and pulls it aside, dumping them into prison.

Yeah, I have too much free time on my hands.

Work-wise, I'm doing random stuff. Like helping people decide what upgrades to make, or what PC to buy, etc, etc. Helping with faulty internet connections, poking things with sticks to see if they bite, and such.

I'm making a little money off that, and I've also made a little money from my music, so I"m kinda… pleased. Surviving. Whatever.

I've got some mysterious music to make :P

About the new file-manager… It's not terrible, but I miss the old upload interface, where I could queue files… And also where it conveniently gave you the links to the uploaded files… But I won't complain too much; it's an interim thing. I'll use DropBox.
