I've been fighting a terrible battle for the last three weeks with ModPlug Tracker.

After that battle, I seem to have won. Barely.

This uses mostly samples. Two drum samples, one SynthBrass, and a Choir. Then it goes and throws the Unknown 64 VST into the mix.

It took me longer than I liked to get this 'right'. Layering instruments and sounds together when working with samples and synth is far more complex than working with the relatively simple sounds of the NES. :P

Anyway, for the remix comp, I'll still be using Famitracker if I can. People associate me with chiptune; wouldn't want to pass up the opportunity to mangle some full orchestrated ambient piece into Ye Final Boss Battle Music.
