really? people are gonna $hit their pants over birds? only minecraft can get their fanbase excited over the most mundane things. also that flying machine was just plain creepy looking. a bit excessive of a process to make it too.

This isn't something naturally occurring in the game, it was created by a player.Recent updates have allowed a whole new direction to display your creativity within the game.
This isn't just some mod; birds have been modded into the game since the Beta days. :PThis is something that was done with Vanilla command blocks, and armor stands. It's a pretty big deal, especially to map creators. This same guy also created a fully functional piano, Sethbling created a working Security Camera, another guy did a Radar system that works with vanilla maps…Some of this is crazy. It's highly unusual for a game to allow for expansion of itself from within the game. :P
hmm well it seems that went right over my head than. I don't think the video, at least to me when i watched it at 7am after getting 4 hours of sleep, made it clear this was NOT created by the developers or a mod, and that this was a fan-made creation within the game. In that case, it IS more impressive BUT the birds seem to be the main focus of the video, the flying machine was thrown in at the last second. In fact, in that case, WTF do birds have to do with it at all than?
