I found a crazy web host for PHP and MySQL, for those of you qho know about my issue. It's amazing so far, but I really dont know whether or not to trust it. URL? I forget, but my subdomain ends with exofire.com.
X10Hosting, that's their name. What makes it different?<li>Completely free - No upgrades, meaning you have the best there is at no charge.</li><li>Ad-free or ad-enhances account options, with different amounts of disk spaced and bandwidth.</li><li>Free subdomains and domain addons with redirections.</li><li>PHP/MySQL hosting with 5 free databases.</li><li>NO PERSONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED</li>Well, it's almost too good to be true. You can't seriously tell me that they're a no-profit organization just giving you the best they can. The thing that caught me: NO PERSONAL INFORMATION. They ask for your email at most. That's all. Nothing else. What kind of world is this?! Since when are things free? Anyone know about this? This may be my key to finishing the BOPG site, but I don't know how far I should trust it.Reccommendations? Also, I found another host that allows you to host other people. You don't have to pay to host 5 or 10 other sites. Wierd…Well, this is something I would like to figure out. Thanks for any help you may give.Peace out,Kilin
Also, X10 is legit..
Thanks, ChIkEn. That helps a lot. Guess I'll stick with it.
Ad-enhanced allows you to make your own ads, but I don't know about the rest. They offer more bandwidth and disk space, though.Yeah, some of my teachers actually use x10. Should be fine.
Heh…I just found some of their paid subscriptions. =P
They're additional services, though.Your FTP is limited to 2.5mb, I believe.
Well, it doesn't say anything about FTP size. It says things about number of FTP accounts allowed, but as far as I know, I choose the amount of bandwidth and disk size up to a certain amount. This service confuses me.
It might have been a different host, but I'm pretty sure it was x10 that limits you to something like 2.5mb per file.
hey, X10 hosting… isn't that where SY had his website once? Which crashed worse than 64digits?
^lol
Roach uses x10 hosting methinks, so if you want someone's opinion go ask him :)@flashback: You know, I really haven't tried much with it, so it's very likely.
@Irony: What, the 64D clone? I believe that was hosted on 64Digits.
