2x Smash Bros. COMBO [64B]

5K hits, BTW.

Anytime I tag a blog with [64B] means it has something to do with 64Brawl, or whatever the heck I'm gonna call it.

First, let me get to more important news.

They have just announed that they will have a stage builder on Smash Bros. Brawl. That's…amazing. This means I can play the game for years to come. It also has a submit button that not only allows you to submit your own stages to Nintendo WFC, it also allows you to RECEIVE stages that have already been created. Whether you submit or receive, it's only once per day. Either way, that's pretty neat.

You can customize tiles, backgrounds, and music on the stages. How much better can this game get?

Now that that's over, time to go to my game, with less attention since that first bit.

If you didn't hear, I'm working on the AI right now, then I'll have something playable. No, you can't have it yet, but MAYBE when I get a few more characters. EVEN BETTER! I'll release private alphas for "testing."

Now, I need to get a few things down. First, I need a good platform example, mostly with decent collisions. I'll find one soon, but horizontal wall collisions are a pain. Also, this game WILL be online, so I need to get some multiplayer stuff down. If anyone can give me some help in that area, I'd very much appreciate it.

No other characters have been confirmed yet, because I need to work on the engine first. Once I finish, then I'll go begin with all of the character programming.

That's all for now. I expect you need a screenshot, but…TOO BAD. I don't have enough done yet.

Peace out,

~Kilin

Damn, if you need help with platforms and perfect collisions and that shit, I'll be glad to help. Look at my platform example, or PM for help. Sounds like a good idea as long as its not corrupted.

Don't forget to do a ResourcePack set if you ever get to expanding this trinket of an idea

@sk8: Thanks to Andes, I've got perfect platform collisions and such.

@serprex: Well, that sounds like a great idea, actually. I don't quite know how that'd work, though.
