Kilin's Back!

It's the end of the college semester. Yaaaay.

As agreed, my mom has bestowed upon me the wonderful gift of Internet privs at home. No more trying to hack that WPA key, and unfortunately, I didn't know of any LAN cables we had, but that doesn't matter now.

So, Kilin's back in business, though he may be distracting himself too much right now with the Internet instead of working on his games. He likes to hang out at 64D and answer silly blogs and add to that blasted news post.

Shaiya: Light and Darkness

My friend introduced me to this new MMORPG that's going back up. It's been up for a few days now, so if you're bored and want something to do, here it is, Shaiya. We could probably make a 64D alliance or something…but I advise you, though the game doesn't have a direct rating, it's more along the lines of M. So if you think you're going to be having problems with light blood, etc. then don't play it. =/

Caring for Lixies (Working Title)

Work on CFL is coming along nicely. Once again, Andes has helped me with platform collisions. Now all I need to do is build the world, and the fun part…program the lixies.

I've always been worried about Lixie AI, as they learn from performing instead of calculating. They're quite stupid creatures, but the goal is to make them entirely teachable, from what foods to eat, to what monsters to avoid, to learning when to return home at night…and how.

Life AI, along with the fun complications of platform gameplay, are always fun to program. I expect something playable pretty soon, actually.

Oh, and the view, which is normally controlled by the keyboard, is also controllable by a character. Once I decide what that character is, I'll let you guys know.

In other words, CFL is progressing quite nicely. ^_^

Back to work,

Kilin

You actually tried to break WPA encrpytion?

Fool.

@FB: Not really. I would've just plugged a cable into it and gotten a wired connection.

You assume I'm some sort of hacker, Flashback.

My parents really don't care how long I'm online, since I'm quite active. I have gymnastic and diving practice daily, 2 hours each. And OotM about 3 times a week for 1.5 hours… so yeah, all the rest of my time is usually online.

I don't understand those people whose parents control what they can and can't do on the computer. I control what my parents can and can't do on the computers.
Ditto.

That doubly applies if your parents are less computer-literate than you, and they don't get that you use the internet/computer for things other than games.

I never have these kind of problems. Even if my parents would shut down the wireless signal here, someone in my street has an open network (quite slow, but fast enough) and I don't think my parents would break my iMac to take the WiFi receiver out…

You could try using a brute force WPA cracker, I hear they work well on average passwords.

@OL: It was a simple, letter-based key. O.o

@Fcon: I dunno, maybe when I get some more done.

Ya, Kilin still needs to make the stat window capable of crushing them

Castypher 17 years ago

On one condtion, fcon. Stop claiming my welcome phrase and you'll be able to test.

@serp: Yes, CrushingForLixies is an interesting concept.
