League of Legends?

Apparently anytime I write a devblog, it fails. Oh well.

I've been seeing talk of this game around 64D. Since I don't have a decent online game to play, I thought I'd download it. Pretty cool as far as I see. I love RTS games. But there's one problem.

After doing the tutorial, it told me to try a practice game with only bots. So I tried a practice game with bots. Says I need two or more players. What's the point of saying that at the end of the tutorial if I can't do it?

I really don't prefer to go online and look like an idiot and/or burden someone because I don't know how to play the game. Any news on this? Bug? Typo? Wut?

Or, one of you can get with me and then I don't have to worry about it. There are plenty of 64D players out there I heard. <_<

They had bots only before, but a few weeks ago they removed that. If you don't like online play you won't like this game. You should read the help thingies on the site if you need help.

Practice games used to support anything from 1 to 10 players until Season One. If you're at low ELO, and it sounds like you are, don't hesitate to solo queue. Half the players at this level are smurfing and the other half are retards who run into towers before the creeps spawn.

I've been mostly playing on my smurf account recently because uni+work=can't play hardcore=drag my team down. I'm the faggot going 30:1 with Eve and trolling everyone.

Anyway, pick a character that's easy to play (as in, not fiddlesticks, not karthus, not anivia, etc), read a guide, solo q and do what you want. Don't worry about being a burden, at entry level its not uncommon for 2 people on a team to die a few times and go afk.

Eheh….

I started with Karthus and got yelled at a lot. Then I checked his difficulty and it said "Hard," so even though I got used to him, and he's great for farming, I tried someone else.

Like that little rat with the rocket launcher. That was pretty easy I guess. Any other recommendations for starter characters?

Noob friendly: Ashe, tristrana, ezreal, xin zhao, gangplank, katarina, yi, ryze, shen, sivir, teemo,

Do not play if noob: Karthus, anivia, blitzcrank, eve, twitch, fiddle, tryn, CORKI NEVER PLAY CORKI unless u pro, soraka, warwick (read guide and learn to jungle him, never play him in a lane. Otherwise easy champ).

i wanna be a corki now.

blitzcrank sounds like it would fuck you up if you smoked it.

Sad thing is 90% of the characters you listed have to be bought. Nice thing about this game is you can get almost anything from the store just by playing the game.

I also find it funny that my first hero was one of the ones you highly advise against playing.

I guess I'll buy one and try it out.

Some friends of mine have been trying to get me to play LoL. I installed it but haven't bothered playing it yet. I don't have much interest.

Warwick is not hard. Seriously, as a jungler he's got one of the easiest times. Especially compared to like Amumu or Olaf, who are generally always next to death.

Neither really is Fiddle. But thats personal preference.

Also, Ezrael isn't very noob friendly :|. He's got like only skillshots, aside from his tele. Although they are fast skillshots.

But I can attest to corki being hard. He's pretty much do or die based on his skillshots and entry time.

And gear, you may want to lump in Nasus under the noob friendly, I mean, he's harder than the others, but its only because you have to worry about last hits. Otherwise he's amazing. And easy.

Also, summoner name is Proromancer.
