JUDGINGJudging will take a little less time than expected. It will begin tomorrow (late tonight in my time depending on how many submissions I get), and the first round will go for two days, giving you some time to play the games (stay on top of this please). Then on Thursday, the second round will begin, where the top five proceed for one last chance at first place.
For the first round, votes MUST be submitted via PM, with your top three favorite games. Try to take several things into account, including gameplay, innovation, and how well the game fits the theme. For the second round, everyone only gets one vote.
The results will be announced on Friday.
Every one else gets an eBook.
Probably dropping out…
You may submit through 64Digits, but if that fails, just upload it somewhere else and give me the link. Submission template is pretty much the same as S4D. Also, if you want a particular screenshot, send that too, or I'll take one wherever I see fit. Keep in mind I'll be testing all of these before judging begins.
Also, we'll just say midnight GMT on the 31st instead. Otherwise nobody really gets the 30th to work. Be thankful.Oh, and fuck you Rez, I was looking forward to your game. =|UPDATE
Read above. The deadline has been extended by a decent amount. I probably won't extend it any further so take advantage of it and work hard.If you're behind, now's your chance to catch up. If you're on time or ahead, you can submit early or even add more to your game. Be sure to take time to polish and debug. That can mean a lot in your ratings. Also, I'm debating on the cash prizes, whether to take the Paypal fee and reimburse out of my pocket or just hope everyone who's said they're donating actually sends the money. I'm leaning toward the first right now (not that I don't trust you guys), but because it'll simplify everything.Submit your input if you like. Not trying to make you pay extra, but I think the first way is better just because it's a lot more simple to distribute prizes. And there's only one person handling the prizes rather than a bunch of people that could get confused on how stuff works/drop out at the last second.
Of course not. If you think you can put something together in another week and a half, be my guest.
I'll be putting some final touches on my game tonight and I'll be submitting it tomorrow. Would've liked to make use of the extended deadline but I'll be going home on the 29th for 10 days and won't be bringing my PC, so I won't be able to continue development past that point.
Ugg, my entry isn't done.
It's not even playable. So… are you participating, Cyrus?
@JuurianChi: Don't panic yet… You've still got like 6 days bro. Just knock something out. =)
