A Nudge in the Right Direction.

Short blog/requesty thing;

So I want to make Credence Filter a platform adventure game. It will have scarce enemies but it will have puzzles and platforming and stuff. Half-implemented is a system for picking up important items, which you can only have one of at a time until later when you get the ability to store an item. Items can be weapons/tools/key items.

Bleh, basically, the point of this blog is to ask you guys what some good platform adventure games are so I can play them and study their techniques and concepts. I want to make an actual game this time around.

So what are your favorite adventure games? :D

I miss that franchise :'(

Actually, apart from the original game it was pretty shit.

Hey, I never played the original, just the two for N64, and I thought they were fantastic.

Oh.

I never actually played the two for N64, but I somehow assumed they were horrible.

I'll beat this level but in an hour I'll be hungry for another.

"Somethings gone wrong in Boy George's pants" (Gex 3d)

That line used to crack me up.

I had no idea why you kept calling it Gex 3d until I read the wikipedia page for it.

In America it just went by Gex: Enter the Gecko.
