I would've been cool with this if they went from this new logo to the old one. But imo, they are indeed stepping backwards.
I mean look at the old one. Name? CHROME. This new logo? FLAT, the old one? 3D sphere with metallic plates with a material that makes it look like it is CHROME.Chrome = coat metal with chromium: to electroplate a metal with chromium in order to make it [shiny] and [protect it against corrosion ] I'm just saying that the old one explains a lot of what the browser is. Super protective, shiny and polished. And overall awesome. I don't know what this new logo is saying um….welcome back to 2005?I'll never stop using it though…I use Firefox too heh.
No, I'm going to stop using chrome because it's been giving me problems that I never had with firefox and firefox no longer has the problems it used to give me.
What problems? Firefox had so many issues that I still get, and that's why I still use Chrome.
Since I've been using Chrome (late 2009 or early 2010, I think), it's only crashed two or three times, if that much, and I've had no other problems with it other than accidentally closing at least once a day.

I guess they want to make their logo as simple as their browser. I usually love simplicity, just still don't like the logo. :/The only issue I have with Chrome is that every tab seems to use a HUGE percent of my lil single-core cpu.
It's like running a game or something. But it runs so much better than FireFox.40th comment of discussion:Late comment is late….
I don't have any problems with Chrome either.

Not that accidentally closing it matters because it starts so much faster than Firefox…
It's awesome.
I don't like the fact that my friends say "I don't like Chrome because it looks weird" , Chrome looks like something I've needed for over a decade!Chrome actually blends in very well on Aero, IMO, and it doesn't really matter much anyway, especially considering the way the interface works.
