I'm thinking I wanna incorporate some atmospheric dubstep synths into the soundtrack. nothing like "why am I listening to dubstep this is a video game.", but more like "Oh hey, there's a little dubstep sounding stuff, kewlbeeeeeeeenz."
to give you an idea of the atmospheric dub im talking about, LISTEN TO THE DUBSTEP SONG I MADE ^^[please, critique my music. I don't post all my work here just to showcase it, I want your feedback]if you wanna be a douche, skip forward to right about 4 minutes in, and u'll hear it change and the dub gets all reverberated and what not. Short blog, idgaf. i<3u 64D
I didn't like it
at all. The main bassy synth sounds very neat and powerful, and overall the sounds are pretty interesting. The melodies, however, sound very random…Yep. That particular song is not going to work at all.
well, the melodies are in the locrian and arabic scales, its supposed to sound dark and heavy, ill keep working at the melodies though, and this song isnt intended for the game lol
The synth reminds me of the Commodore-era "computer voice".
I like the sound. Might be good for a boss battle or something.
well. If youre thinking about using it for the game.
I think the intro would work very well. The main wobble would have to be much quieter and more in the background. Also, the drums would need to not go crazy at all i dont think.Otherwise the ambience in it is amazing! Definately want to hear that in the game, cause the game and that sound go hand-in-hand.Theres mai feedabckAnd I agree with Misconstruct. THat would be amazing boss battle music.
And the reverb part sounds awesome, but works better for the ambient part of the music if it is going to be used for the game.I also thought of putting dubstep in a game before, i think its a good idea.no.
no to you, sir.
No, what?
It's awesome.
