OK this is the game im currently workingon… going 2 finish hopefully

its going to have alot of art and stuff so it'll e graphically up to date and dont worry the story and gameplay will be seamless i hope. people complained about INVASION 2 lagging so ill go easy on the particles or just have them switchable

GOT A BETTER IDEA FOR THE GAME?? this is the basic concept:

The main character, Chris Green, is an explorer and flies to an uncharted island and eventually finds himself on a beach where he falls asleep and dreams of being underwater and cant breath then mermaids find him and laugh and swim around him. Chris begins to wake up but finds himself apparently in another dream; but in reality, in front of an enormous sand castle and on an island surrounded by endless ocean. Chris finds a door with 10 indentations with symbols on the inside. The door is huge and he must find the missing pieces to the door throughout the gigantic castle. Throughout the castle are mirrors, serving as portals to different and fantastic worlds of fantasy and mythology where the keys are hidden. Once through all of the levels, Chris must place all of the collected artifacts in the appropriate position to open the door

> I think it is a good, original concept, but other than a drive for curiosity, there is no "hook" factor in it (or at least, it is not strong enough). Personally, I want to see something more personal about Chris Green. Make him more human, otherwise, players will feel a sense of detachment. Why is he exploring in the first place? Maybe he is trying to find an ancient cure to a new disease that - he somehow learns - spreaded sometime ago in the ancient past? Maybe this disease is destroying the world - or better yet - his sister? If that sounds a little cheesy, how about having him falling in love with someone in his dream. He believes that that girl (a mermaid? a goddess?) is real. He thinks that she is out there somewhere and is calling to him for help. Thus, already being an explorer, he goes on a search to find this girl.

In other words, add a "personal spice" that players can associate themselves with. It enhances the gaming experience.

Just some thoughts.
