Sorry… lots of blogs… i deleted 1 so i could free up space…. this is my 4th 1 today? spaced out alot tho… hmmm….
anyway,YEAH! i think i know a way of how to protect a game without a patent:USER AGREEMENTthey have lots of power, u no. type a user agreement a person must click "i have read and fully understood, and agreed to the user agreement" to before playing a game saying thay cannot in any way reproduce, duplicate, or steal any aspect of the game and blah blah blah etc etc etc….WHAT DO YOU THINK?? a good way to protect something atleast until a game gets patented??i donno if USER AGREEMENTS actually need to be verified by law… as far as i no there is no legal paperwork but breeching a user agreement is grounds for sueing someone in a court
Why don't you just copyright the game? What would be so patentable oin your game anyway?
You must know that if you create a game/program,(or anything for that matter), you can copyright it by simply putting a copyright character next to the logo or whatever. If they steal your game, it is illegal if it has a copyright, and that can be taken to the officials or whoever.
That's not a legal patent, however. Putting that there just copyrights the name, phrase, or whatever you put it by.
He may not be able to registerr for a legal patent because he may be underage.yeah thats not a legal patent so NO its not protected by law.
plus patents take almost half a year to be accepted, filed, and legal
put heavy credits on the game (user name(s) at site name(s) name, copyrght symbol) and no one will try to steal it if it's not a gm6/gmd file.
lol good idea and i NEVER post a .gm6 file.
yes.
…yes what??
maybe agreeing to me?
