So, I've made an intro screen, and here's a first look at the beginning of the game, the first landing site in the Maibuu Rainlands. I was wondering what you guys thought of the more cave-like approach to design for this area?? Also, as for those crystals, do you like the orange? because it also looks awesome purple… but I feel something is missing… ideas?
Heh, I was just throwing it out there as a cool idea. I don't think DSG has the means to manufacture handheld consoles.
DSG's screenshots and continually teasing demos like he always does + kickstarter = why in god's name are you not getting paid right now? get your money on, DSG. pimp that shit.
i mean fuck, you could advertise for Subsonic Fallout on the side. two birds in one stone.I didn't mention Kickstarter
1: Because I already did before. (I'm ahead of the curve and nobody ever notices. such a shame.)2: It's so painfully obvious. You just did something painfully obvious.I would buy this full price if it was ported to 3DS.
Also, if I may request another tutorial, DSG, I'd like to know how you do your scenery. Because I realized just now that all my artistic endeavors in Lixim are similar to how you do Depths. Nothing looks tiled, everything looks great and blends well. I'd just like some tips on how you structure your levels, because it doesn't look like a tile system at all.1. Start 3DS game dev company
2. Name it 3DSG3. ?????4. PROFITYeah, this project could actually have potential on kickstarter. Question is, what does DSG really need? I can't imagine anything that costs money would help out at this point.
He'll probably get the game on Steam and be filthy rich, if he ever finishes it. Which should be any decade now! This is probably the best looking GM game I've ever seen.
I agree with Mordi that you could this game could seriously do well on Steam, it's right up the indie gaming alley.
Never mind bet looking GM game, this is by far one of the most beautiful platformers I've seen, period.
I'd try going for Steam with this, DSG. Don't waste the effort.
