There ya go. Also, getting rid of Pyros, Frost, and Terra and replacing them with guns? Good idea or bad idea?Also, I was thinking in the interest of exposure, I should change Depth's name since if you just google "Depths", any content related to my game will be buried by random stuff due to the commonality of the word. Therefore, I was throwing around "Depths: The Eight Temples" It's simple, fits the game, and I think people will remember it. Anyway, I drafted a new logo with it all, thoughts?
-DSG- Depths: Ship is now in operation [UPDATE: new title?]

You must like pain.
Hooooooooly shit, this is looking good. I'm also thinking it'd look even better with stereoscopic 3D, if only there were a way to do that. And Glen, you took the words right out of my mouth.
Nothing looks better with stereoscopic 3D. >:c
When DSG finishes this game, everyone will ascend to heaven.
And they'll also think about finishing their own games.This game, I cannot wait. ;-;
A suggestion for the player's ship:
Add some subtle tilting from side to side, as if the engines were making slight adjustments to keep hovering in the air. Not sure just how doable that would be but perhaps it'd look good when you're not directly interacting with the ship or something.If it's already there, I don't notice it, even on the highest quality setting for the vids.
I think it's a bit of a spit in DSG's face to say this game will never be released, this is definitely some tangible progress.
While I would totally play this game, buy it to support DSG, etc – I am not convinced of the gameplay yet. It has the polish to make unique gameplay really take off, but it really needs some radical departure from the usual run&gun game. The game industry is horribly competitive, while DSG seems to be able to level the playing field with polish, that is really where well-funded products with sophisticated engines will win-out. Not counting it out yet of course, but the average gamer is obnoxiously spoiled. Some name ideas to throw around:'Depths of the Universe''Depths: Exposed Earths''Depths: Untold Worlds'
