Dead Arm Syndrome

So I woke up in the middle of the night, and hooray I woke up with Dead Arm Syndrome - y'know, when you sleep on your arm and it goes dead and you can't move or feel it?

So its about 3 in the morning, I wake up, 'reach up' to brush my hair out of my eyes, and realize my arm didn't move. I then realize that I can't even feel my arm, and look over and I don't even see my arm as I was still lying on it. My first, immediate thought was 'Oh my god, someone's stolen my arm'. Then I woke up more and realized I'd just fallen asleep on it.

So I pick up my arm, and it feels really weird, like someone else's arm. I let go and it flops down really funny, so I pick it up and bite one of my fingers - no feeling at all. So I sit there for five minutes holding this arm to my chest when it finally regains feeling.

That's not the first time that's happened, but it was so weird. Such a creepy feeling, especially since I was really sleepy at the time, and I had less than nominal mental faculties functioning.

Anyways, I went to the movie at Ingle Auditorium yesterday, it was Borat. It was awesome - I went with my friend Ian, and another friend, Pilar (she's Peruvian). Good movie, with some really creepy parts - specifically the nude hotel fight. Bleurgh!

I don't think I really have anything else to say, except…

To be honest…I love it when that happens…because it's fun…to flop around with your arm and hit it and stuff…

It feels funny too…in a good way, or at least I think so…

Sometimes I wake up, and I'll be laying on my back, and my head will be turned to the side, and my whole body will be paralyzed from the neck down, which makes it kind of hard to turn my head back properly to deparalyze myself.
