Where? Here!

Yes - I'm back, I've been busy with a number of things, including:

Family

College

Making a personal website

Movies

Being stuck on a plane for a long time

Going 3 days with 7 hours of sleep

Watching MXC - a re-dubbing of Takeshi's Castle

And other things

Stupid airline people broke my beard trimmer >_<

I read a good book with massive reference to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" the book that Bladerunner, starring Harrison Ford, was based on. It was a very entertaining book, and I'm going to find more by the same author. I love the look on some people's faces when they hear Harrison Ford starred in a movie based on a book by that name.

I need a good place to register a domain name - does anyone have any suggestions?

And to the some people who *still* don't know it, yes I am still staff…

I also drank a quart of pomegranate juice today. It was delicious!

I'd suggest godaddy.com like Inf1u3nza.

They're inexpensive and are ranked no. 1

I'm planning on setting a site up there… since it's only 10 dollars a year.

either desertfox.com, or RAWRIMASPOON.com would be awesome.

On another note, how hard would it be to rig up a parser that only parses the blind tag? It could really help me!

Even during construction, would you be so kind to release to us a link of your personal website after you find a host?

Speaking of sites, I need to get on mine fast. I should be able to afford godaddy, like everyone else is saying. I'm going to go look up the limits they give.

I assume a new semester's begun, DF? How's it going so far? Classes?

Anyhow, good luck with all of that.

http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ is cheap. Not sure if people in countries outside of the UK can use it though.

I also might recommend x10hosting.com. They've actually got a nice free service going on, and they keep their paid plans hidden.

You can choose between ad-free and ad-enhanced plans, where ad-enhanced, of course, has higher limits. Where you could only have 3 MySQL databases, you can have 5 or 10.

I've never seen their paid plans.

The only disadvantage is if you're not active for a week or so. They'll suspend your account, then delete it soon after. That's what happened to me, but they were pretty good. They only keep people who are actively using their service.

Dynadot is great if you wanna pay with paypal.

GoDaddy is alright, but there was something with their paypal transfer that wouldn't let me buy from them last time.. not sure what.

Aha! Now you must grow a wicked long beard and live in a cave to scare off little children

But more importantly, dF is a mod?!

MXC is amazingly funny.
