I have developed a hatred of anyone playing World of Warcraft. I don't know what it is that consumes them so, but I can't understand what compels what would otherwise be possibly normal people to spend their entire lives playing that game.
Most of this is directly related to my roommate, who by chance plays WoW. He wakes up early in the morning to play, and due to the fact that he uses voicechat, he wakes me up too. He has this droning piercing voice that goes through two pillows and a blanket - its louder than my alarm clock, and twice as annoying because you can be almost asleep and then *wham* BLAH BLAH BLAH. What is more annoying is the fact that even if you ask him to be quiet he says 'Okay' and keeps blithering on to his WoW buddies about random things. I don't know about you, but when you stay up late working on things, you don't like to be woken up any earlier than you need to be.This is the life of my roommate - it can be divided into 4 things.Sleeping - this is a random event and he is the only person that I've ever met that has a stranger sleep schedule than me - at least I am consistent in my 'sleep all day, be up all night' thing. He sleeps 4 hours, is awake 6, sleeps 2 hours, wakes up for 5 more, etc…Reading manga - in the random unpredictable times that he is awake, he sometimes reads manga. This in itself is fine, but he reads it non-stop on his computer, and then randomly stops and falls asleep again.Going to class - he only does this because he is in fact in college and attending class is in fact required to graduate.Playing WoW - see above. When he isn't reading manga, attending class, or asleep, he plays WoW.Things I have never seen him do: eat, do homework, shower, laundry.O_oHatred of WoW and my Roommate's Strangeness

@Geo: Yeah. Pretty sad when it comes to that.
@DF: Sounds like a fun roommate. Does he keep you up when he's playing, then?Pacman IS mexican, after all. ::Whistles::
DF, havn't seen you in a while =P. You are still staff, right?
How's your internet-zombie-game going? And its background image?
And they say DRUGS are bad, duh.
I've heard my share of stories about WoW addiction, but most of them was concerned with the gamers themselves - not annoying and waking up other people. I presume you need to find a way to shush him up - maybe respond with singing karaoke to his mic?@Cesque: WoW IS a drug.
