iPhone Game

So for my final project in my iPhone class, I am making a game.

Normally, I absolutely suck at graphics, but I found a way of doing stuff that makes it look uber-awesome.

It's more noticeable on the mines, but I have an awesome pseudo-3D effect going on. Also, the mines rotate. So does the ship, but it's kind of hard to see in this picture. The ship is gorgeous in motion. All of the graphics are mine, and HOLY SHIT THEY'RE VECTOR!

Anyways, it'll be a dual-stick shooter with aliens and stuff, and a unique ship upgrade tree. I really wish I could get away from asteroids clones, but I always end up making them because I like them. Also because I normally suck at graphics and anything else is past my capability to make look even remotely good. In other words, I wish I had a graphic artist.

So I've finished OpenGL ES encapsulation, and that is an actual screenshot of the game. And by that I mean it's a test of my capability to load multiple images and display some in an animation. And it works great!

3d vector mines–it's too much to handle :O

It all looks hawt but you should change the silver outline on the heat and blue capsules on the right and left.

The dev kit is so expensive, like 300 usd if I remember.

O_o

The dev kit is free. You sign up with apple with an email, download the SDK, add the framework/stuff to XCode, and viola!

You might be thinking of an engine license.
