I got the Referral Badge. Pretty kick-ass. I don't know who I referred, though. I enrolled at the Game Programming University. I'm taking a course on Euphoria. (GPU) I also might be teaching what you could call an Advanced GML course there. By that, I mean it will use registered GML Functions to make games entirely in the Creation Code of a room. This will be for Advanced GM Users, programmers looking into GM, and people who just don't like clicking a lot. Hopefully, I'll be able to start teaching this soon. That leads me to the title. If I teach this class, I am gonna need people that could make sprites, animations, and small songs. This is because, to my knowledge, I need to provide students with resources. If you are interested, please post here. If you want details, I will post them as soon as my curriculum is finished. Then, I'll have to make sure I get the course approved. If I don't, I'll most likely hold a class somewhere other than GPU. Also, with this whole Cage Match thing going on: I posted in the recent news post, as well as in the Cage Match topic, this:

Yeah, following the DtoD thing, and then the Chiken Scandal, the cagematch has pretty much become a playground for favoritism and cheating. Not much to do about though, unfortunately.

I agree, I feel that ColumnsX votes are mostly "liek, look, 64D freind!11oneone!" That's a total bias. I voted CsX for reasons of enjoyment, and to be honest, I hate simulators.Yeah, I did vote for ColumnsX, and that's why it bothers me when people go "OH U JUST HATE CSX!!!" Whenever I point out some of this stuff. I voted it because I could play it for like, 10 minutes at a time. I did like Evolites, but it didn't get fun for at least an hour, when you had your Evolites super-evolved.
And wow, Fred, now that you mention it, it does…You ever step back and think that maybe ColumnsX is a decent game? Or is it automatically undeserving just because Chiken chose it? Yeah, the cagematch is more broken than a watermelon thrown off of the CN Tower, but you can stop acting like it's Jake's fault.
Oh, and, how many GMC members think that FredFredrickson is God's gift to Game Maker, and that all his games are perfection in binary form?It sounds like you hate ColumnsX just because it was made by a fellow 64D'er. You act like Chiken never played it.
And personally, I wouldnt even consider Evolites a game. Its a piece of shit, it's just polished alot. Theres really no gameplay value in watching circles eat, poop, and die. It could have been something if there was actually more content than a few dots with pointless stats, but there isnt. Its not unfair to him, because he dosent even have a game. At most, its an example that looks pretty.I actually voted for columns X just because I had fun with it. Yes I played evolites it was cool for a bit, but not much to do unlike the Sims or other simulation games.
Can you people fucking read? I said that I liked ColumnsX, hell, I even voted for it! I'm just saying that I don't like waht's been going on. Like that news post, for example. The stickied blog. And everybody going "SUPPORT 64DIGITS!!! VOTE COLUMNSX!!!".
