-For those of you who don't know this already, and that should be about 98% of those reading, I have ditched Pone, and decided to work entirely on assassins at the moment. Well, not entirely, but i'll get to that later. In this game, which will be a 2d platformer, you will scale buildings, steal things from houses, pickpocket, and do pretty much everything an assassin/theif would do.

-I'm also thinking about incorporating lockpicks/lockpicking into this game. For those of you that have played oblivion, i'm gunna try to incorporate something of that nature, except probably simpler.

-I want this game to be similar to assassins creed in terms of theme, like how you play an assassin, and it will be played far into the past(im gunna have to look into dates lolz). The reason i ditched Pone was because in terms of design, it was beginning to become too similar to TU, and nobody wants two of the same game eh?

-On another note, I'm looking into learning java. I want to learn it early, so when im in college, (I'm only 15 now), i want to start a fighting game that will be played in a browser, similar to ssb, but with original characters/powerups, in my spare time. I was just wondering if java is capable of such a task, and if so, what books do you guys reccomend to someone who is 15, has used only gm, and has used mostly the d+d feature of gm. :[ Im tired of being a noob lol.

Erm, I suggest the GM manual and learning GML first, D+D to Jave is quite a step xD

Quite?

Start with GML, move to Java, or BASIC, then to C++.

That's what I did.

Do you think its possible for me to skip gml, because idk i just kindof want a fresh start.

It is possible but if you get comfortable with GML, you will understand more about coding in general.
