This is an interesting thing to see: me making a game. I know how, though not very well, I just never really do. But I am working on now. It'll probably be pretty bad but whatever, I'm enjoying making it and learning quite a bit. I took I think five screenshots of what I have so far. I'm going to add a little more before I finally submit it to the WIP section.
Name:Haven't thought that one through yet. (The filename for the .gm6 is just platformer)Main Idea:I guess it's basically a Star Wars game. So far, it has nothing in common with the series except for the fact that your main weapon is, of course, a lightsabre, and you are equipped with a few force powers here and there. That's probably enough to classify it as a Star Wars game, but it really doesn't follow the story-line (actually it doesn't have a story-line yet) and all the enemies so far (just turrets and little automated droids that aren't finished) are of my own creation. Yes it's a platformer. Obviously. What It Has So Far:- Lightsabres!- Six force powers including: Throw Sabre, Push, Speed, Jump, Shroud (see image below for example), and Heal.- Ceiling and/or floor mounted automatic turrets.- The ability to deflect laser shots from turrets or droids backwards and harm the thing that originally tried shooting you (everybody loves it when that happens in the movies).- Explosive barrels that, well, explode when you slash them or when they get shot. Not that cool but whatever. It's still fun to slash 'em all.- Modest graphics. Nothing in the game so far hasn't been made by me. Even though the graphics aren't amazing, I'd say they aren't crappy either.- A force metre system that recharges and shows whether or not you have enough energy for the selected power.- Two kinds of droids. Gun Droids roll around and shoot you if you get too close. Force Droids, when you're in their range of visibility, slowly sap your force power and lower your metre. VERY annoying when combined with Gun Droids. What It's Going To Have:- Better sabre physics so that you have to move the sabre for it to count as a slash.- The ability to choose player colour and sabre colour.- Tons more force powers (sorry if I didn't get your favourite in there).- More to the terrain instead of JUST barrels that explode.- Another Droid that disallows you from jumping or moving, most likely going to be called the Grav Droid.- A cheat code system =D Who doesn't like codes??Screenshots:MINOR BETTER GRAPHICSBLOWN UP TURRETFORCE SAPPINGFORCE SHROUDDEFLECTING SHOTSBLOWN UP FORCE DROID
Looks like it has improved since the last time I played it. =)

BIG BOOM!
Looks good. Wasnt there another Star Wars platformer that used the mouse? I dont think it was finished though.
Name some force powers you'd like to see in the game.
How about… force mother?
… Just kidding.I dunno, maybe invisibility and it "refracts" pixels.Force lightning
Force chokeForce pushForce pullForce killallnoobsLast one is the best! =)Lightning I'm going to start any day now.
Choke I'm looking forward to trying, I just gotta create ORGANIC enemies…Push I have, just gotta refine it morePull's annoying and I'm not going to worry about it till laterAnd killallnoobs would PROBABLY get me thrown in jail, EVEN though I was only helping the world become a better place.
