I just downloaded both within an hour of eachother and they've both improved my life on this god-forsaken computer.
Opera's faster than IE so far and has worked out a lot better. Plus it's way cooler with the skins and the mouse gestures and all that crap.Windows Live Messenger is definitely a step up from the Messenger 5.0 I used to use (anything in between the two were really bad on my computer based on glitches, dunno why, and speed). This Messenger isn't that good speed-wise either, but it's worth it. dgovettjr@hotmail.com if you wanna add me.New computer's getting much closer now that I'm out of school and have just about enough money (about a thousand dollars). It's killing me that I don't have it yet. This'll be the first reasonably fast computer I've had in years.That's about all that's new I think… Done.

Live Mssenger is definatley cool, you should get Messenger Plus! Live aswell as the Mess Patch (thanks Fox-NL) then you have an even better Live Messenger.
As for Opera, I still prefer Firefox but each to his own I guessI mean you could, but you would switch back once you realize its features are all a copy of Operas. As for IE, IE7 pwns, There are just I think they took too much from firefox and not enough from Opera for me to make the switch.

IE7 has MUCH better security than IE6.x, it isn't a hacker's paridise any more…Live Messanger is awesome, plus you have the opertunity to spam while your friends aren't on…
