In my free time.

When GTA IV first came out I was a little disappointed. Sure, it's a beautiful game, it runs great, and most of all, the engine is so freaking awesome with how realistic the physics are. Whats disappointing is how versatile the game's mechanics are and yet you can't do anything with them. Rockstar just really wanted to go realistic this time, which is fine I guess, their choice, but it just feels like their is so much potential for a game that has as great of physics as this.

Not too long after GTA IV came out, a game that I really liked called Infamous came out. If you've seen the game Prototype before, it's pretty much that but with electricity for powers. I used to love messing around in the city in that game, because there was so much you could do: push cars around, fling them into the air, find a large cluster of cars and just destroy them in a huge explosion, ect. The physics in that game weren't great, but they got the job done and I could cause the chaos I needed; but deep down I wished I could take those powers from Infamous and put them into GTA IV.

Recently I had fixed my desktop and have been getting into PC gaming a lot more than I used to; but more importantly, I also learned that Rockstar had left their data files that hold all the variables open and very easy to change in the PC version of GTA IV. Of course at first I didn't like the idea of buying the game twice, but the idea that I could do what I've always actually wanted to do sounded far too enticing.

Once I bought it the first thing I did was copy youtube videos I saw where they changed the tire friction for all the cars to -9.0. Of course, me having this typo curse, I put in -0.9 instead, which turned out (imo) a lot more manageable and easier to play with. I also found the in game video editor to be quite useful and made a video you can check out if you want to (it would please me :D).

Anyways, main subject here, the other day I decided I wanted to make Roman's car into an indestructible tank and I thought I'd share the video with you guys :D

TL;DR version: Watch my video please :P

The car going in circles at 4:39 was particularly funny because I had a teacher once who had to chase after his car like that.

Except his car was going in reverse. And he was trying to jump into it from the outside of the circle.
