At my school, the rest of the class isn't really up to advanced computing yet (not boasting or anything, but… yeah). Well it's not expected of them. Anyway, at my old school, everyone knew how to copy and paste.Do you think that my class knows that?"Hell yes!" I hear you say. Not so. Since right click is disabled (Haven't gotten around to enabling it yet on my profile), they don't know how to copy or paste. I hear excuses fly through the air, "Oh, but I couldn't do the work because I don't know how to copy!". I'm not really known for being a computer enthusiast over there, but one of the people wisens up and asks someone."Do you know how to copy pictures?""Yeah.""HOW???!?!!!?!""Control C, dumbass.""SHUT UP", etc.See? My IT class sucks bad. My latest project? Putting together a PowerPoint slideshow about camp… WITH music. The IT teacher dosen't know how to put music in… so I told him… and yeah. By the way, he writes 'kb' as 'km', so you can't really expect a lot from him. Hmmm, what else?Oh yeah, we made something in paint (When they had Corel things and Adobe Illustrator on the machines), learnt the advanced (make text BOLD!) features of word, and made a couple of things in PowerPoint. Apparently my classmates haven't heard of custom animation, because their slideshows had 200+ slides in them. Mine had about 5.Anything else to rant about IT? Oh yeah, the computers suck balls. No CD drive, a screwed up floppy drive in every one of them (Yes, every one of them) and they're super-slow to log on. My ICT teacher once asked me how to use Excel, Word and Outlook. I even set up part of the e-mail system. Did I get rewarded? Did anyone ever notice? No. Bastards.lol, yup, it's a universal law of IT teachers - they know less than the people they're supposed to be teaching =/ (even in college… most of my teachers don't know any keyboard shortcuts)

My last teacher didn't know how to make a table in HTML. Which wouldm't be bad. If he wasn't supposed to teach us that. Oh, yeah, and he does WEB DESIGN and makes MONEY from that. I can't even make a buck from web design and I made my own CMS. Now, tell me that the world is fair.
Gah, you think thats bad. Im not even going to start about my IT lessons. Ok, ill only start then.
My IT teacher is a stuck up bastard, thinks he's amazing at computers when hes shit (he took a picture of the internet and claimed he 'created this image and digitally modified it by editing its properties using a graphics editor program'. a) he didnt create it. b) he just clicked invert on paint. I hate him so much. He just thinks he knows everything, but he doesnt know anything. He gave me an afterschool detention for turning someone elses computer off because they were practically destroying mine - actually hitting (eg thumping with actual force) the keyboard, trying to pull the monitor off the desk, trying to pull the cd drive out etc - and they got no punishment. So I told him to piss off. And I didnt bother turning up to teh detention. He doesnt apprieciate that I am hte best in the class, including him. He treats us all like babys as if we have never used a computer before - he stopped us all from using the computer and 'taught' us how to log on because only one person was incapable of doing it. I can finish a 3 week project in under 10 minutes - no exageration; He excpects you to write up everything you have done on the computer, on paper! Of a max education capability mark thing of 8, I was only given a 6, max. I should be atleast an 8. The lessons are bad. Very bad. The work we did in year 3 (Powerpoint, word, excel etc) - we were still doing that in year 9. Luckily, I decided to drop in for GCSE at year 10 and thats what I have done :) No more IT for atleast 2 years. Oh, and all that is only the beginning. Im not even going to bother continuing (you would die of old age before you would be able to finish reading it all.)Oh, and once, I got on a computer at the start of a lesson, and the lesson ended (70 mins) 5 minutes after I managed to log on. Yes thats right, it took over an hour to turn on a computer. D:
