FPS Demo Updated

Posted by FredFredrickson on Aug. 16, 2006, 12:50 a.m.

Well, I got a little bit more done with Aster Blaster, but this blasted FPS game keeps distracting me, so I have been adding a few more things to that as well. The FPS demo now has terrain, a simple ramp (probably not the final coding for that yet), sound fx, and a jump pad. Not a whole heck of a lot, but fun to play with for a few minutes. Enjoy!

By the way mods, if this blog is too short, send me a PM or something and I'll add some more.

Holy shit. I can only hope you were kidding.

Also, Fred, can I get some screens, please? I still don't have directX on this computer. [:(]

It's not much to look at yet, but I do have an old screen (before I added terrain) here:

I really like the gun model. Anyways, I am looking forward to playing this. I miss having a graphics driver. There aren't any borders here, and the font is close to impossible to read, and it just generally sucks.

But that FPS demo will be one of the first things I download.

By the time you get your drivers I'll probably have an updated version out… I just got the bullet hit boxes working right last night. [:D]
