Yes, I know.. This blog is filled with nothing but TCOK2, but that pretty much all ive been doing, so thats what I am thinking about.
Anyway, I was putting in an enemy when I realized how long each one takes. Here is yet another screenshot, this time of the enemy I am talking about.<img src="http://64digits.com/users/Game%20Fortress/psiball.gif">Getting all the particle effects right the way I want them is a genuine pain, but when its done it looks cool. I just dont look forward to the hordes I will have to put in to even match the original, not to mention surpass it (in terms of enemies). @_@
The screeshot looks cool. What kind of game is it?
Its a platform adventure game, like the original =)
Ok. I haven't played the original, but platform games are awesome.
i played the original. looks like it WILL be a pain to program every little enemy. i figured that out while working on firegleam blade.
Its not as if the programming is particularly difficult, but it takes time to get the last detail just so.
the origanle was cool, the next looks better.
i never finished the 1st one, but i got far enuf to see how cool it wasai programming sucks, but the end result pwns. Aafter designing an ai, i always feel like a proud parent. the parent of a gun-slinging creature of destruction and blinding death. mwahahahahah!
Wow! It looks like a good game! But I can't play any games created with Game Maker 6.0 and above because of my computer.
The video card has little space.Enemies… Something I haven't really attemped to program with full effort yet.
Game's looking good GF.Yeah I looked at some of the A.I. Bob has made in our game and it looks like a pain besides the ones that just move. I can do that.
