I think this is one of my first music blogs on 64D, even though I've been making music for awhile. I've mentioned in comments that I produce Trance music and similar electronic music. I've been using FL Studio since 2008 for production. It's a great tool if you utilize everything that it has. Usually I make original songs, but recently I made a remix of a song called Spectrum that was originally created by Zedd. I introduced the use of a keyboard in the song along with a more trancy feel to it. Not sure how much of you are into this kind of music, but tell me what you think. It has less electro/dub in the song than the original.https://soundcloud.com/dj-cloud-nine/spectrum-cloud-nine-remix
I like zedd, but I've never heard that song, so I don't know how much of it was original vs your remix, but it was really good. =D
oh hey a remix of a song i've actually heard before
Actually the first version of it I heard was also a remix, so it feels slightly strange running into another remix of it like this. Well done though. Only thing is that I did a panic-refresh of the soundcloud page when it went to whatever thing was next, and now it won't let me listen to it again. :cI apologize colseed. I was re-uploading the mastered version of the song. It should sound less bassy and crisper now.
And thank you bendodge! Still working on final touches with that one. Thanks firestorm! The vocals are an acapella right from the song. Zedd himself provided a few resources online from a remix contest he held last year. The rest was re-engineered in FL Studio.lol yay
naturally i manage to time my random refresh just as the updating is happening xpBrilliant!
Liked and Downloaded.Though I'm disappointed there wasn't just a bit more SID clips.I love that stuff.SID clip?
The Chiptune stuff I heard.
:DAh yes. It's a bit quiet throughout the song, but still noticeable. Around 2:14-2:40 you can hear it the most. It's in the background throughout most of the song.
The kick is quite quiet and 1:28 was very anti-climatic, especially since that snare is louder than the kick. Usually it's the other way around.
That aside the track was enjoyable.
