I finally got a Wii today. I got the second to last one available in the store. (I didn't have school today because I went to an interview for college). Unfortunately, the only game I have is the Wii Sports disc that came with the thing. They didn't have Zelda.
For those who do have Zelda for the Wii, can you tell me, is there an alternate control scheme to use the Gamecube controller? There should be, considering it also came out for the 'cube, but I figured I might as well ask. Knowing Nintendo, they're likely to do something stupid, because that's Nintendo. Tons of awesome with a bit of stupid.Anyway, I came on 64Digits for about 5 minutes through my Wii. I'm not too happy that password fields are not starred while you're typing with the crude keyboard. The image was blurry, zooming made the page way too wide, and scrolling was crude. I'd only use the browser in a total emergency.Nonetheless, it's internet, on my TV. Which is still awesome. Wii Sports: It was fun. At least, playing with others was. Wii Boxing got boring before the first fight ended.I'm having an issue with the controller, the cursor is a bit below where I'm pointing. Which is probably because I have a large TV, and the sensor bar is located on top of the DVD player, which is in turn on top of the TV. The only thing that really pisses me off is the fact that Nintendo used a different AV cable than it did for all the past systems. I had one connected to the back of my TV, and one that I could take with me, and I could hook up either my SNES, N64, or GCN to the thing. Now, if I ever want to take my Wii anywhere, I'm going to have to crawl behind the damn TV to plug it in again. So, yeah. I'm happy.
Haha I gots zelda =p
it doesnt have a gamecube scheme, nintendo said its cause if they didnt force people to use the wiimote at first then most people wouldnt try to use it.Oh and the wrist straps got updated so they dont break like before.Yeah, only idiots break their straps.
increase the sensitivity and it'll fix the cursor problem >_>
also, the wii zelda kicks ass, much more comfortable, and you can pretend you really DO have a ball and chain XDalso, accuracy is a thing of the past, now you just whip your friggin' bow out and shoot the hell out of everybody by aiming instantlyLucky you every store I've tried has plenty of copies of Zelda but no wiis :(
Same. I don't think there are any Wiis under $500. I can only find them online.
How much did you buy yours for?I'm gonna get the zelda twilight princess eventually. My father, being a chinese old-fashioned sort of man, wont' let me buy it until I finish Red Steel, which will take a while. It took a bunch of persuading to get him to let me buy a wii. I was lucky to get one because they sell out quite fast.
i brought my wii for $498, yeah once you use the wiimote why would you wanna play the orginal way ?
zelda rocks :DI got my wii on the first day and then i got zelda on christmas ,i beat it, like in january ,i thought it was hard ,
