So, what happens when a website grows to such a large and unimaginable scale, such as YouTube?
Well, the site fills with absolute morons.
For example:
acdc is cool they rule best fuck band motherfucker cool bon angus
Yeah, really. It's a shame. Any time a community becomes very large, it fills with absolute retards, but YouTube is notable because it has some of the stupidest comments I've ever seen. The intelligent people are few, vastly outnumbered by the retards that make such large sites suck. The only reason those sites still operate is because there are more morons than intelligent people, and they're all content with that kind of idiocy.
I mean, look at that sentence. Normally, just a lack of punctuation and capitalization indicates how stupid someone is. But this guy goes far above this. A two year old has better sentence structure than this mess. It's just a random string of words that came to his mind as he watched the video.
I mean, honestly, what the hell was this guy thinking when he said that?
And right after his comment, we see the traditional internet noob:
to bad if u were in jail 4 10 years listing 2 this now that wood b a piss off
Yeah. At least the other guy knew how to spell words. It would be one thing if he just replaced some words with the letters and/or symbols that they sound like, but he can't even spell the remaining words that make up his comment.
It scares me to know that society is filled with people like these.
[/randomness]
It scares me too.
Don't worry about youtube,
eventually the n00bs will find another trend and will dissipitate from that site, then the decent members will stay and the comments will be more legible.Im quite confused how people can have such bas spelling.
Its as if they type stuff close to the correct letters, and dont care if they mess up.Or theyu just dont haev a vaxkspace button…What scares me is the recent comment spam on YouTube along the lines of "press F6 to make your crush's name appear on screen, if you won't you will die in 2 days, paste this in 5 comments to avoid it".
Blegh.Ah, I totally agree. YouTube depresses me because it illustrates our ultimate demise.
It's embarrassing, too, because even the "serious" videos receive comments from illiterate morons. I honestly believe that intelligent people have ceased to comment on YouTube. God knows I have.I like how you guys always call yourselves intelligent just becasue you use proper sentences. Have any of you ever stopped to think about what intelligence is. If you had you would know just because someone doesn't type perfectly or even understanably (if thats spelt right I don't particually care) doesn't mean they are not intelligent, they could just be lazy for example.
I wonder which one of you intelligent people will laugh at my "unintelligent" post first.Alright, after rereading my post I see that I indirectly called myself more intelligent than anyone who posts on YouTube. Not my intention [:)]
In any case, there's no disputing that many of the people who post there are unintelligent, but I don't mean to imply that everyone is. And I don't think laziness accounts for the lack of grammar/spelling. With the exception of abbreviations, it shouldn't take any longer to write a comprehensible message than an incomprehensible one.@ Nathan:
I didn't laugh. I just think your post is funny because you used proper grammar. If you typed an unlegible, illiterate comment, I might have taken your side on this… After, of course, I deciphered your post. I and probably many others take pride in our ability to speak and write correctly, just to let you know.Translation:I didnt laf. i just think ur post is funny cuz u used proper gramar. if u typed an unlegibel, illeterate comment, i mightof taken ur side on this… after of course i decifered ur post. i and probly may others take pride in ar ability to speek and right corectly, just to let u no.See? Which one was better?Unfortunatly not every one is as smart as you, Herooftime55.
