Report your Neighbor for Thoughtcrimes!

This is an important issue. What we have here is outright propagandism and persecution by the US government for thoughtcrimes, and a blatant violation of our right to Free Speech, indeed our right to formulating our own opinions.

People will try to play it down, of course, but understand this:

1) There is no precedent for the white house suppressing political discussion under the guise of "protecting the truth," hell this smells like it was taken directly out of 1984.

2) This acts as a chilling effect, it's purpose is to scare people into not voicing their dissenting opinions.

3) These people are entitled to their opinions, labeling it a "right-wing conspiracy" (lol) is absolute bullshit and is just a cop-out to avoid answering the concerns being raised.

4) Forwarding an email, as most stupid people will do, by default includes the original senders email address and all people previous to the last recipient. They can then arbitrarily label said people "terrorists" and cancel out their constitutional rights without due process, via the 'patriot' act Bush was so kind to leave us with.

It's starting for real. This is not just proposals and bills being derided as 'socialism' merely to put it in a bad light. This is a direct, outright suppression of our free speech using fear and intimidation tactics.

…There's a wonderful thing we have here on the internet, it's known as the Streisand Effect. When a body attempts to suppress information, the Internet revolts and strikes back. Well, this is a test. In the past, it was celebrities or cults trying to suppress information, mere jokes compared to the power of the internet. This is the real test, here there is a real threat. Who will stand up, and who will be silenced?

Me, I've always been outspoken, even when it isn't healthy for me. I'd sooner die than be quiet, and indeed that is the only thing that will silence me.

This isn't about health care, this is now about our simple First Amendment rights, and whether or not you support the proposed plan, you cannot in good conscious allow the outright suppression of dissenting opinions. I won't.

Agreed. I'd rather be shot like a horse than herded like a sheep.

That may be me, but political discourse in the US is always, always, a mixture of incomprehensible facts (insurance finance policy bill socialism reform yada yada yada) and wallacist rhethoric (fight for our freedom we are losing our rights constitution yada yada yada).

Which makes it hard to understand the point.
