Bills Suck

Posted by Infinity_Plus on Nov. 4, 2010, 3:12 p.m.

Just a simple fact of life. Sorry guys, no story to follow about bills, I just finished filling all my bills out for the month, ugh.

Thanks again for everybody's input on the Mac vs. PC blog of mine previously. I was glad to see so much passion in everybody's comments.

Boring Notes on Life: I think its important to remember to make sure you enjoy what you're doing in life. Many people around me forget to do that, and I see how strenuous their lives are. Keep fighting 64D! You guys are all awesome.

I am lucky enough to be working in my chosen career field at the age of twenty. Most of the people I went to school with immediately jumped on the oil field bandwagon here in ND, which is currently booming. They are making serious bank, easily twice what I'm making, but the difference between us is that I enjoy my work. I've had many opportunities to make $60k-$75k a year to start in the oil field, but working in IT has been what I've wanted to do since 7th grade. I hope that this applies to everyone here as well.

TL;DR - Would you rather work in a job you enjoy for less, or in a job you hate for more $$$?

I'd hate to have to work with people that don't like their job.

I thought the title was referring to the Buffalo Bills, who also suck.

I would much rather work in a job I love for less than working at something I hate for more money.

Depends on how much I enjoy/hate the jobs, and how much more $$$ we're talking about.
