Do you like rewards for playing?

Do you like unlocking upgrades or unlockables during a games campaign, or do you like a straight forward campaign?

Even though I have close to 30 achievements already(plus more on the way), unlockable side missions after the game's campaign is complete, and unlockable ranks and characters in the game's multiplayer, I feel as if the game needs more to unlock.

When I was first creating it, I made it possible to buy and upgrade weapons during the campaign, but unfortunately I lost all this work multiple times(about 5 or 6 times) due to my computer failing horribly, so I had to redo a couple of months of work at a time.

I didn't know how to back up work back then, I was only like 11, Dat shit ain't funny. >:(

So all I have now is Online highscores for the game's campaign and Survival mode, and the achievements and shits.

:(

So should I try to recode it so you can unlock and buy weapons, and all that kind of delicious shits?

What would you love to unlock in a game?

Lol. This is exactly what I love to do, I always have at least a few dead people lying around, but I always try to make it look as if something really happened there instead of just some random dead guy in the middle of the woods.
See? Nothin' like people killin' each other over soda. :D

That loner segment sounds rather interesting…reminds me a bit of the middle mission in Republic Commando for some reason.

(gah keep thinking of other games today WHY IS THIS)

I have Republic Commando, I bought it for $1.

Played it for 1 hour. Then I never set eyes on it again.

IF YOU GIVE ME MONEY I WILL PLAY YOUR GAME

Understandable…

The quiet-ish scenes on board the Prosecutor (the middle section I mentioned) were probably the best part. lol

lol nice trolling kenon.

and i think colseed meant optional areas that aren't required to be found to finish the game. always an interesting idea to play around with.

I will make some small little seekret achievements in the game if that's what you want.

I don't mean global achievements. I hate global achievements. :) I mean extra goals for a particular mission (something like in… Iunno… the Obsessive Completion Criteria in World of Goo or "gold medals" in a ton of games or missions in some RTS games which have an optional goal that gives you a later bonus).

Now… Dead people around a soda machine. Brilliant.

P.s. My suggested name for a chicken-killing achievement: "Coop Troopa". Or maybe "Don't Get Cocky".

Now that you mention it, I remembered I was about to add something to one mission in the game, after you lose communications with your squad, I was going to let the player choose to either:

Help your squad out (because they were ambushed),

or let them die in order to catch and kill the enemy's commander.

Both would have had horrible consequences, if you chose to help your squad, the Earth wouldv'e been destroyed, but if you chase after the enemy's commander, your squad would die.

I know that's the exact opposite of what you mean, but I like it.

But I thought that would have been too Mass Effect like, and could potentially ruin the story, so I took it out.

Nice achievement names, now I have to add chickens to the game. D:
